UK Mint makes restrikes although not calling it restrikes

Hi Stackers,

Two things I noticed when looking at this new coin about to be ready of the UK Mint:

First of all they call the rules James I but the coin's inscription says Jacobus. To maker it more complex - for a Dutchan like me - the ruler is James VI of Scotland becoming James I of England when he succeeds Elizbeth 1st.

The other thing and I liek that a lot is taht they like the Dutch mint try to mirror the old original coin which in this case was a gold crown of some 22 mm 2.5 grs of 22krt gold.

The UK Royal Mint as usual will sell a wide array of sizes and sets and all can be seen on their website. Nice sets totalling 9k GBP for those still have moeny in these expensive times!
