When I started stacking in 2014 I did not good know what to buy. Nor did I have an idea how to sell again in time...
Today I stick to low premium silver coins and 1 ounce gold coins from the well known mints only.
In 2014 however I noticed the new proof Britannia being presented and I thought the design was pretty good that year. I am a bit of a phantasy fan so I decided to buy 4 of this coin. Each was 125 EUR in the special package with COA that is.
First have a look to make up your mind
Right after the coin was issued markets went crazy . The coin was sold out in an instant and US EBAY showed coins transfering for 700 USD each and some for 1500 if they were graded as MS 70.
Nowadays you cannot find many anymore but price has dropped to a more normal price but still at a high level. Last time I looked I saw 595 GBP for a slabbed MS 69 .
I sold one for 125 EUR to a Youtube friend in Singapore but still have the other 3.
