Hi Stackers,
Friday early morning me and the Mrs head of to Tenerife one of the Canary Islands belonging to Spain.
The Canary Islands - las Canarias - are located in fact left of Marocco (North West Africa) and will take a 4 hour flight.
We expect snow in Holland so hopefully no issues with the depart and reaching the airport.
As you can see Tenerife is dominated by the old vulcan "Teide" and the population is mainly living on the small coastal strips.
We will do a 8 day fly drive with a rental car. We have two different hotels.
One just north of the vulcan (Puerto de la Cruz) and the second left in a beach area (puerta de Santiago). With the car you can climbe to the middel part of the vulcano and take a cablecar to almost the top.
