Summer arriving and Corona is almost gone due to weather and or vaccinations.
Time to start booking some weeks away.
After long thinking about Sweden, France or Spain we decided to go to Austria and to Spain later in October.
We booked he following trip:
In two days we drive to the Otztal in Austria and stay in Sölden. We take our bicycles with us up the car but in Sölden we will most likely be hiking a lot. Skilift takes you up and on you go.
The valley is North South and heads to Italy but you would have to cross a pass of some 2500 meters. Hopefully all other tourist stuff is also opene again like the wellness in our hotel. I certainly paid for that !
Then we head for an organized bicycle tour with pre-booked hotels and luggage transport!
After some 50 km each day for 6 days we are brought back to wher eour car is and we head for the mondain Worthersee ( a lake is called Sea in German)
We will stay in posh Portschach
Hotel prices vary from 80 to 400 a night here. Guess what we booked! Correct the 80 EUR !
After some days we leave home again and probably will do the 1000 kilometers in one long day.
Can't wait, just another month before we go.
