Dear Stackers,
This week I auctioned two coins and the result was mixed.
The dome Pavo southern sky did well and delivered some 80 Euro after costs and that is more or less what I paid years ago for this coin.
The Ghana Skull I paid 100 and the outcome now is 48 Eur. What a bummer. I cannot set a reserve for lowe value items so this outcome is all in the game.
The so called book gain is 60+10=70 EUR because I value each ounce of gold at spot in my excel which is some 20 EUR per ounce.
Next lots:
I plan to auction a lot with some China Panda coins made for exhibitions. I will put in some marketing talk to draw attention. The other lot will be my second Elephant of the big five series of S.A. as the first one did so well.
Beware, I am still holding 10 kg of silver in bullion and these are only sold when silver goes up a lot, say to 35 EUR or more per ounce.
