Today another one of my gold coins worth 1600 EUR as we speak.
It is the 2011 Buffalo but I start with the other side of the coin depicting the head of a native American. I believe the design originates from circulation coins with the "Indian" head used in the early 1900's
The other side has the Buffalo or Bison in my language.
Not visible are the texts 50$ , In god we trust and E PLURIBUS UNUM (out of many, one) . Yes, North-Americans are fond of Latin texts!
The coin is packaged in a foil which is dotted for some reason.
