say i am a standard working person like most people here, well in IT or finance and a $1000 actual USD is nothing for me, right, in that case ?

So i buy me a 1000 steem accounts, burn 6000 STEEM on it atm ... i get me a 1000 votes, i make a proposal that could net me 2000 , maybe 5000 or 10.000 and i upvote myself 1000 times , same goes for witnesses who get paid to run nodes btw ?

how does that work ?

if i would EVER get into this proposal thing (which i wont ... it feels like begging for cookies again to me and politics but its a great way to crowdsource and incentivize initiative , i totally agree with that)
i probably would start with "no more pay for nodes" and then move on to more interesting stuff like no more pay for , o wait no ... one vote per legal person when it comes to decision-making ...

which means validated accounts, but ONLY for people who want to vote on witnesses, proposals and decisions, leaving the option to create as many as you want (i mean YOU have to fill them up with SP after all there's no damage in that)
but only ONE account pro capita so to speak that can actually vote on witnessess and decisions ...

and maybe more popular stuff, because my special power is called "making friends in high places" and im great at that , but i won't and just saying

i am WILLING to put up ONE account that is allowed to witness and decision vote, no problem for me, i am not willing to stick to one account on steemit, big problem for me ... and as about all the SP i have but maybe 10-15% is SP i BOUGHT i expect no complaints about that either ...
