The computer apocalypse did not happen. I had moved on to programming on PC's and not updating the old mainframe code so I didn't get all that cash.
However, in 1999, I watched many programmers get paid boatloads of money to change all that code, with fingers crossed.
By March 2000, a lot of Y2K mainframe code programmers were laid off after a job well done.
Sort of reminds me of Today.... hmmmm.
