This is how I started this drawing early this morning:
It's supposed to represent the face of an insect, but it's starting to look suspiciously like a very famous mouse, so something needs to be done:
Here comes the moment I decide to sign and date this drawing!
I always like to take a black-and-white picture before I start coloring.
We can still sort of see the big insect head, but one of the big fangs is actually shaving the dinosaur, which is where I got the name for this piece. If you don't look at the dino's butt as another creature's head, you can see that it's lifting its leg like a dog would, hence the shower in the lower right corner of the picture.
This time I also included a progress shot of the coloring process:
As I so often do, I used my Noodler's Triple Tail fountain pen filled with Noodler's Bernanke Black, and Arteza colored pencils, on Rhodia paper.
