We're not ready to live through what's coming. I'm not. I live in a village and no one I know has the chops to program drone swarms. My possessions are scattered across three towns and five sites. I don't have a lab setup where I am producing drones, and don't even know where my tools to do it are presently. I am still in hopeless disarray after having been evicted last fall, and I barely managed to save most of my possessions from Evil, Inc. Three months from now I will still be screwed when the hammer falls, and I saw this coming and undertook to prepare. Most everyone I know didn't and hasn't.
