I guessed that Huairou Water Reservoir was an artificial lake!
Since ancient times, the Chinese have built many canals and reservoirs to obtain clean drinking water from the Yellow River.
So, The Chinese waterway and reservoir construction technology is the oldest and most advanced in the world!

Are there such wonderfully constructed artificial reservoirs and waterways in Bangladesh?
