Coincidentally, corn must have attracted some more attention as one of the presidential candidates in Nigeria's election in 2023 has promised to recruit 50 million youths into the army to fight terrorism. In his words, they'll be fed with Agbado (corn) and other starchy foods - sadly funny! With this, the youthful army will not only combat terrorism but also PEM (malnutrition).
