If anyone took my phone now and went through my camera roll without taking any permission from me, I would panic at first. And this is not because I have anything implicating, but because they would see a version of me I rarely talk about..
On my camera roll are payment recipient, some briefs from clients, unfinished sketches of buildings plans, some random plates of foods I made, some random pictures of natures too while moving through a place I like. And such a person might even be shocked if they find it so difficult to see my picture because I hardly take one. I can recall several people always telling me to snap pictures, but I always find myself in group pictures, but personally, I hardly have those.
And some of the pictures I have, I hardly post them because I see some to be badly framed. Some shows my face looking tired. And others are just some random pictures of space, walls, buildings, and anything that caught my attention for the first few seconds of looking.
And what surprises me the most is that going through my camera roll does not show me chasing after a big moment or something. It shows how I pay attention to details and notice small things when nobody is watching. And I discovered that this is how I have been right from my young age, even before I had access to a phone or any camera.
And moving to my screenshots section, these only show my practical side. The building photos reveal the architect in me. The random food picture that I snap shows that meal that I enjoy or am about to enjoy even more than I admit.
And I feel those pictures that I don't get to post may be the honest ones.. because the way I see them reminds me that it is not everything that I value or attach importance to that needs a second eye or third eyes. And maybe my camera roll is telling me a story I'm still trying to figure out, one ordinary picture at a time.
Thank you for reading.
