Thatβs a very strict policyππbut do you think that changes once a guy genuinely falls in love with someone, or would you still keep the same rule?

I think Id bring that back because childhood felt more social back then. We actually knew their neighbours and made memories together instead of everyone being glued to a screen like now....life was just

I so much miss how effortless it was then cos we didnβt need Wi-Fi, expensive gadgets, social media to have fun and be happy. I could literally turn an empty compound into an entire entertainment centre

Things like football in the street, hiding and seek, ayo, just gathering outside with friends until someoneβs parent started shouting their name and they starts running back homeπ

This brought smile to my face cos I just had to remember those good old days, I'm picturing myself in those moments again nowππbut if I could bring back one thing, it would probably be those oldschool

There's a saying that some guys spend excessively on girls simply because they don't interact with enough of them, so they attach too much value to the attention they receive from one person. Do you think

Doctors always say we should sleep 7-8 hours a day. But ideally, most people sleep barely 4 hours a day. Is this good for them, or are they doing more harm to their body?

Absolutely. Advice should help a couple communicate better, not replace the communication they should already be having

Exactly. You can respect your pastor deeply without assuming they know your marriage, your spouse, and your circumstances better than you do

Exactly. A pastor can be a trusted adviser, but your spouse shouldn't have to compete with the pastor for a place in your own marriage.

And outside guidance should strengthen that trust, not replace it.

Exactly. If you can't have difficult conversations with the person you're married to, getting married doesn't magically solve that communication problem.

That's probably the simplest way to put it. A marriage already has enough people involved without adding a permanent third partner.

That's probably the balance. Listen, consider the advice, pray if that's part of your faith, then the couple should still be able to make their own informed decision.

Exactly. Respecting someone's spiritual role shouldn't mean treating everything they say as unquestionable.

Sure, but trust shouldn't mean surrendering your ability to think critically. Even a respected pastor can give advice that isn't right for your particular situation.

And it can create a strange power dynamic where the pastor becomes involved in decisions that should primarily belong to the couple.

That's probably the part that annoys me most. Imagine your spouse tells you something sincerely, but you immediately need your pastor to confirm whether they're right.
