I have my husband's old phone and it's reached a point where it can't be untethered from the charging cord. As I never take it anywhere except the hospital, I don't mind it. It just sits next to my chair waiting for me to come vegetate on TikTok while I rest. I don't make calls on it and sometimes text. And take cat photos... :)) The cord is long enough for these things.
