And I am one who does not. But I like the idea of lavender and have again tried to grow it. It survived the awful winter last year; I was surprised! This year it was buried under the tansy but survived. Now it has my mini "English walled garden" wall near it for warmth and wind break. In future I will try to give it better growing conditions. Hopefully I won't have to abandon my gardens ever again...
