Just like you (and that seven year old lad), all I ever wanted was to be a writer/author. I did succeed at that goal about 20 years ago when I was hired as a newspaper writer/staff reporter. From there I ventured on to write books and be a ghost writer (among dozens of other writing positions).
While I may no be a Top 10 NYT best seller, I still accomplished a goal and am proud of myself for doing so.
