It was exactly 5:05 a.m. when I started creating the post, a very convenient hour for creativity. And I really don't know how I skipped this photo session that is coming up now in these great posts of mine... I don't know if the name of the post tells you anything, but
And here's how this combination of Zoya and me came about in July 2021. I had a pretty big pile of newspapers that I was collecting for recycling. I spent days looking at those newspapers in their place in the hallway. Every time I passed by, I would look at them and think about what else I could do with them while they were still here, at my place. And, then that day an idea flashed through my mind.
I took the scissors in my hands and got to work, not even knowing if my idea would work. But everything went smoothly and by hand. I made a lining for an old top hat out of newspaper, and a dress top and bottom. It was all so cute, but I had to wait for my leading actress to come and approve my idea. Of course she did, she was delighted with my idea, and that year she was not even seven years old.
We also made a big backdrop out of newspapers together... and as you can see, we were both in a very good mood. All the poses, I must say, were Zoya's idea. She almost always takes the positions herself in our photo sessions, here and there I sometimes give my idea.
All the photos of this very fun gathering with my cheerful granddaughter were taken with the Olympus E-M10 Mark and were only edited in Photoshop as necessary. However, after a few days I did some creative work on them.
