Good evening dear everyone in the Feathedered Friends Community 🙌📸
For this #SMaP contest, Round 288 I’ve prepared a few photos of a pelican I took at the Zagreb Zoo. Pelicans have a large, long beak with an elastic skin pouch underneath used for storing the fish they catch. The feathers on their heads are silvery-grey and look shaggy and tousled, especially at the back and crown. To me, they actually look a bit funny—especially when that beak opens—and this one was even making squawking sounds. Maybe he was annoyed that I was taking his picture.
So, let's go see together!
I took the photos with a Olympus E-M10 Mark III, 40-150mm, f/4, auto mode. Processing in Photoshop - Camera Raw Filter.
