One of my visits to a dear friend in Istria ended with a trip to the beautiful Mirna river valley. I have already written about Istria, a beautiful peninsula on our Adriatic Sea, full of old towns with those romantic streets and wonderful old buildings, churches... However, the valley of the Mirna River took my breath away.💚🙏
So, let's go see this beauty!📸📸
This peaceful river, which bears such a name, cuts the hilly landscape into two parts, making a somewhat closed whole still preserved from mass tourism.
My friend and I set out on this adventure in the early morning of 2019, and we were greeted by this wonderful scene of blue 💙 and mist that hung over the river and the surrounding landscape.💚📸
We also came across these beautiful birds 🦢🦆 that floated peacefully on the Mirna river, interesting to say and beautiful to the eyes 👁️
After these scenes, the scenes of this valley follow from the top on Grožnjan, the old Croatian town that I have already talked about. And that scene 💙 leaves you breathless,
Vineyards, olive groves and orchards spread out on the hillsides around the Mirna River
