Good morning dear friends, have a nice Saturday to all of you!馃檶
As I announced with my photos a trilogy about Mexico, a country that celebrates the Day of the Dead in the full sense of the word, its second part follows.
So let's go! 馃摳
The Dia de los Muertos holiday is very similar to the American Halloween, but the difference is in the way it is celebrated. Halloween associates death with fear 馃槼, and Dia de los Muertos is marked by colorful costumes and lively music (this will be in the third part of my trilogy). Although the following photos are not "pulling" to that side, I have to show you them too, because they are part of this photo session 馃摳馃挭
In 2008, Dia de los Muertos was declared part of the world's intangible heritage by UNESCO. With this balgdan, Mexicans show that for them death is not mourning, but something as beautiful as life. Tombs and graves are decorated with objects that the deceased loved or consumed while they were alive.
Here, the second part of my trilogy is finished, I think the third part will be especially good for you. Until tomorrow, greetings to everyone, dear photography 馃摳 lovers, dear Hive friends 馃檶馃檹
