The assumption that those deemed to be spiritually strong should be praying for others and no one prays for them is not biblical.
Paul prayed for a Church that is strong in faith not weak. And the prayers was not once in a while but constant. Ephesians 1:15-20. But in vs 16 Paul said "l have not stopped thanking God for you, I pray for you constantly." (NLT)
The content of prayer is amazing; it was first of all thanksgiving, then a prayer for spiritual wisdom and insight. There is no limit to how far a man can go in the knowledge of God.
There is so much more to know and to understand about the move of God in our world and in His word.
Paul also prayed for the understanding of the incredible greatness of Gods power for us who believe. Hallelujah!
There is an incredibly great power at work in our lives. It was the same power that broke the shackles of death and raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor in the heavenly realms.
That same power works in us!
Pray with me: Lord, may I spent more time praying not only for the weak but also for the strong, for a deeper understanding of what you are doing for those who believe.
