Manticao, Misamis Oriental is located at upper portion of Mindanao. It is middled in two big cities, the Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City. Manticao is the 13th municipality of Misamis Oriental. Here in Manticao, it contains of different establishments just like grocery stores, bank, pharmacy, markets, and many others. Some of the establishments were found here are;
This is Saint Anthony Parish School. This is a Catholic school and i've studied here 4 years. This school was under by our parish here in our place and some of the teachers here are nuns. Almost 900 students are studied here in this school and they have also a big part when there will be having a parade or any activities in the municipality. St. Anthony Parish School was being built late 1901 when father Peter Wang was the first Priest here in Manticao.
This is our Health center, it has a big responsibilities to all residence here regarding with their health status. Pregnant women, vaccination for children, getting medical certificate and many more went on this place. And gladly they are assested by our BHW's. Our health center is slightly small but it can fit more people inside of it. But this time of Pandemic, it will go for social distancing.
Here is our Provincial Hospital, this hospital is very near to our health center. Many illness people were brought in this place and also it has a great responsibilities to all people in this town. This Hospital was renovated year 2015 And now it is already full operational. Patients from nearby municipalities were also brought in here.
And this is our town hall, here in the Philippines we called it "munisipyo" were we can process different documents just like license papers, voters certificates and other legal papers. The Mayor's office were find also in here.
And this is our Public plaza. Every night, many people jogged and walking in this place to do exercises. Many people also sit in the benches here observing the cleanliness and organized place here in our town. If we have Programs, this plaza were crowded of people but this time of Pandemic this place is very quite.
