A Blessed Day Hivers!
One of the happiest times of a person is his youth or youth years because this is when we develop ourselves more and discover each other's talents. That's why I thank God for our successful team building for our youth, which is a way to develop each other's personality.
We youth leaders have been planning for a long time to do team building because it has never been done before for our youth so I thank my fellow youth leaders Ptra EmEm and Sir Dan for helping us to do it properly.
Before our team building even happened, we were already busy preparing from our things for the games we would do and for the food for our lunch and many others. Our preparation was a bit difficult because we just finished our Church Anniversary and we are a bit tired but thank God because He gave us the strength to do what we have to do.
At about 8:00 in the morning, we were at the venue so that everything could be ready and in order. inside Around 10:00 all the youths arrived and were complete, it took a while because they were still far away and the venue of our team building was quite remote.
Our first team building activity was the "Blindfold Challenge" where they formed groups of three by finding the same animal and they could only do it if they imitated the sounds of those animals. Now that each group is complete, it's time for them to enter the venue as they follow the instructions of their leader. The only way for them to finish this activity is if they follow properly what the facilitator says because there are obstacles and different obstacles that they will go through. While they are on the road, sometimes if they don't listen properly, something will happen like they will take too long or they will crash everywhere, but even if there were some things that happened, they still finished their first activity properly and you can see the happy with everything that happened.
Now because it's almost noon and everyone is hungry, it's time for our lunch and we really thank our WM and MM members including our Senior Pastor, Ptr. Dodz for the support. They themselves cooked and prepared our lunch because we were no longer able to cook for ourselves. To make our lunch even more fun, we made it a boodle fight or better known as bodol-bodol. It was more fun because we were all here together and everyone bonded more.
After we had lunch, we rested a little because we were all very full. Just a few moments around 1:00, we called all the youth for the second part of our team building where everyone went through different challenges and it was still by group, it was called "Amazing Race". The first one was when they crawled on the ground without touching the rope, and even here the fun of the events was intense. This was followed by the Sack Race and it was even more fun because there was a hope to join the game, we laughed really hard at the dog. The youth also played some games such as the Ballon game where unity is really needed, pass the egg and the individual question and answer game that if the answer is wrong, you have to put your face in the flour and many of them are wrong and are placed the face is in flour.
Around 3:00 in the afternoon, all the games for our team building ended and I could see on the faces of the youths that they were happy and based on what they said they were very happy because we were finally able to do team building . Now it's time for everyone to bathe in the sea and while others are bathing in the sea, we are busy taking photos as a remembrance of our first team building. This is really a wonderful opportunity for us all to bond and get to know our youth better.
Finally, we all shared the cake we bought for this event and thank God because we were all able to eat it. After everything, it was time for everyone to go home around 5:30 and we really thank God because our first team building went smoothly and successfully and we plan to do it again the next time.
