It saddens me how we spend our shared money rather than investing it. And how amateurish the proposals often are - even among the currently funded ones.
I believe we shall face reality - we terribly suck in promoting ourselves and running Hive as a business. Still, we can learn from our past mistakes: review all previously funded proposals (without grabbing the pitchforks, as we all were responsible for them) and learn from the past. Start thinking as business owners rather than as a bunch of friends, and require a certain level of professionalism from whoever asks for money.
And, of course, encourage people willing to step up to the plate and do something. I haven't done anything really, I haven't run a DHF project, I haven't done anything major - if everyone would be like me, Hive couldn't even rise from the ashes of the legacy chain. I have a huge respect for anyone dedicating their time, resources, and mental capacity to my beloved chain.
