Would you, perhaps, consider having ads for selected accounts? We picked Peakd as the front end of our choice for @dead-pets; the strips have backlinks here. And as the comic gains traction outside Hive, we would love to somehow redirect the traffic (perhaps add floating elements with the characters suggesting to support the authors by creating an account /that's kinda overkill for now, we're far from being there yet/) which would quite likely be atypical for Hive standards. Likely way higher share of people from rich English speaking countries given the nature of the comic.
