Fedoracoin (aka TIPS) is simply a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency launched in 2014, that act as a medium of exchange just like any other cryptocurrencies in the market. However what distinguishes Fedoracoin from others is that it is specifically designed for small value transactions and tipping.
It is descended from Feathercoin and Dogecoin with fast block time (10 times faster than Bitcoin) and operates on a decentralized computer network.
After its launch, the project went dormant for number of years until 2017.
In mid-2017, a new community got together and started working on reviving the Fedoracoin. Finally their hard work has paid off and Fedoracoin is ready to be relaunched on 18/03/2018.
