Parking in our day and age is a real chore.... especially having to get a ticket at those multi-storey car parks. The amount of times I have misplaced it and had to pay a stupid release fee for 40 minutes parking is no joke. The hassle of having to walk to those machines and cue up to pay for your ticket before you can even go to your car. So many needless steps in this day and age.
My solution is a simple one but a market I would imagine many of you overlooked.
Paperless Parking!!!
It is as simple as having scanner's set up at each entrance, you take out your phone and scan your QR code, it time stamps your address. Then on exit you scan again and the fee is deducted your wallet.
This infrastructure could extend to parking meters, bus and train fairs. Well basically anywhere that would benefit from automated payment.
Think of the paper that would be saved on a daily basis. This is something you can pitch to nations!
