I'm not a fan of getting rid of the reward pool.

Being able to be "paid" for my thoughts is what drew me to Steem in the first place (that and it being a top 100 crypto on coin market cap).

I understand the thought of you can earn LEO instead and then sell it for Steem, but at least Steem has some brand recognition I doubt most people outside of Steem will know what a Leo is.
