| Esta semana me dej茅 convencer por mi esposo para ver la pel铆cula de Marvel: "Love and thunder", a pesar de que no soy fan de las pel铆culas de esta saga y mucho menos de "Thor" 馃き No ten铆a ning煤n tipo de espectativas y a煤n as铆 logr贸 decepcionarme, as铆 que ya se imaginar谩n mi cara durante toda la pel铆cula, mi esposo ni se volte贸 a verme jajaja... Se supone que la premisa de la misma es una comedia rom谩ntica, pero realmente no le encontr茅 nada c贸mico ni mucho menos rom谩ntico. | This week I let my husband convince me to see the Marvel movie: "Love and thunder", even though I am not a fan of the movies of this saga and much less of "Thor" 馃き I had no expectations and still managed to disappoint me, so you can imagine my face during the whole movie, my husband did not even turn to look at me hahaha .... The premise of the movie is supposed to be a romantic comedy, but I didn't really find anything funny or romantic about it. |

La trama se desarrolla en torno a la vida solitaria e incluso algo vac铆a que est谩 llevando Thor, paralelamente Jane, qui茅n superficialmente parece estar en el mejor momento de su vida profesional, se enfrenta a una realidad devastadora: Se le ha diagnosticado C谩ncer en etapa terminal.
Ambos parecen tratar de lidiar con sus situaciones solos, hasta que una vuelta del "destino" se reencuentran convenientemente en una de las primeras batallas que se libraron en el transcurso de la historia. |
The plot revolves around the lonely and even somewhat empty life Thor is leading, while Jane, who superficially seems to be in the best moment of her professional life, faces a devastating reality: she has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Both seem to be trying to deal with their situations alone, until a twist of "fate" conveniently reunites them in one of the first battles fought in the course of history. |

Si nos detenemos a analizar la premisa, se espera que la historia resulte conmovedora, con cierto nivel de profundidad afectiva y el toque justo se humor para no convertirla en un drama absoluto, pero, como lo han hecho 煤ltimamente, Marvel opt贸 por el humor f谩cil y soso, y convirti贸 el reencuentro de 2 personas que se "amaron mucho", en una trama adolescente clich茅.
No estoy en contra de tratar los eventos con cierto toque c贸mico y divertido, pero creo que hasta Disney tiene mejores recursos humor铆sticos, sin mencionar que las batallas que nos muestran parecen una parodia mal planificada. |
If we stop to analyze the premise, we expect the story to be touching, with a certain level of emotional depth and the right touch of humor to avoid turning it into an absolute drama, but, as they have been doing lately, Marvel opted for easy and bland humor, and turned the reunion of 2 people who "loved each other very much" into a clich茅 teenage plot.
I'm not against treating events with a certain comic and funny touch, but I think even Disney has better humorous resources, not to mention that the battles they show us look like a poorly planned parody. |

Todo lo que sucedi贸 fu茅 bastante predecible, el antagonista deb铆a parecer m谩s aterrador y con razones m谩s oscuras para sus acciones, pero que decepcionante fu茅 conocer el por qu茅 de sus acciones y peor a煤n, el desenlace que le dieron a su historia. Todo se sinti贸 improvisado, sin ning煤n esfuerzo intelectual.
Creo que quisieron mostrar una perspectiva parecida a la serie "The boys", mostrando en este caso a unos dioses ego铆stas y a los que poco les importa lo que les pase a otros, mientras ellos no sean afectados. |
Everything that happened was quite predictable, the antagonist should have seemed more frightening and with darker reasons for his actions, but how disappointing it was to know the reason for his actions and even worse, the outcome they gave to his story. It all felt improvised, without any intellectual effort.
I think they wanted to show a similar perspective to the series "The boys", showing in this case some selfish gods who care little about what happens to others, as long as they are not affected. |

Esperaba ver m谩s sobre la transici贸n de Jane, de humana a super hero铆na de una d铆a para otro, pero omitieron totalmente todo su proceso, no le dieron el protagonismo que merec铆a despu茅s de haber anunciado tanto a este personaje, creo que fu茅 lo peor de todo. 驴C贸mo aprendi贸 a pelear? 驴C贸mo se sinti贸 al sentir lo fuerte de se volv铆a? 驴Por qu茅 decidi贸 ir a luchar, sin siquiera investigar un poco c贸mo manejar su nuevo poder? Son dudas que jam谩s ser谩n aclaradas aqu铆 馃槄
En la pel铆cula presenciamos varios cameos con artistas c贸micos reconocidos, pero nada que valga la pena. Puede parecer que tal vez me pareci贸 mal铆sima porque estaba predispuesta, pero no, la v铆 con la intenci贸n de darle una oportunidad y ni siquiera me consigui贸 entretenerme 馃し |
I was expecting to see more about Jane's transition from human to super heroine overnight, but they totally omitted her whole process, they didn't give her the prominence she deserved after having advertised this character so much, I think that was the worst of it. How did she learn to fight? How did she feel when she felt how strong she was becoming? Why did she decide to go to fight, without even investigating a little bit how to handle her new power? These are doubts that will never be cleared up here 馃槄
In the movie we witnessed several cameos with well-known comedic artists, but nothing worthwhile. It may seem that maybe I thought it sucked because I was predisposed, but no, I saw it with the intention of giving it a chance and it didn't even manage to entertain me 馃し. |
