My Third Violin Student a Fast Learner Kid with so much Potential

Her mom is very supportive to her chosen musical instrument to the point that this violin was the surprise gift she received on her birthday it was ordered and bought online.

Her mom was really hesitant at first because she wanted her to learn piano but she insisted and was persistent that she really wanted to learn violin so her wish was granted.

Her father is also a pianist and a painter, he can paint back drafts for church activities that looks so nice. It really runs in the blood that his child can become a musician like her father.

Her violin includes a shoulder rest that is why it did not look like the usual violin package as it was added on it. But for me, it would be risky to buy and order online for musical instruments, I will never do that myself.

This child is smart and can easily catch up the lessons I taught her from the beginning of our class until her mom decided for her to have it self-study.

She practiced diligently to the point that one of her violin string got worn out. The good thing was that they were able to buy extra set in case the string will worn out due to consistent and diligent practice.

I also taught her on how to replace a broken string so that next time she already knows what to do and she will be comfortable to do it herself without guidance.

One meeting while one of the string was not yet replaced or attached, we continued our class as her father was the one tasked to buy new set.

For beginners class we focus on the E string the thinnest violin string.

The string that was broken was the G string the thickest violin string.

I also asked her to practice up bow and down for the open strings G, D, A and E strings so it must be because of her persistent practice that it got broken.

I could see that she will become a violinist someday and will play at the church and at the VIP day for a temple open house.
