Reading passage:- 1st Thessalonians 5:17
KJV: Pray without ceasing.
ESV: Pray without ceasing,
NIV:pray continually,
AMP: Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly];
TLB: Always keep on praying.
MSG: pray all the time.
GNT: pray at all times.
I took time to select all this versions of the scriptures so that we will see how necessary it is for us to pray.
If you read the new testament during the time Jesus was on earth, you see that most times after performing miracle, he will go to a solitude place to pray, to commune with his father.
And I often ask myself if Jesus who was God in human form could find time despite his tight schedule to pray then who are we that we shouldn't pray.
I hear and see most people, me inclusive complained that we are tired from the days work that is why we find it hard to pray. And ask myself hope Jesus was not working he was playing that he had time to pray. He even said that his work is do the will of his father but in the midst of doing his father's will he still had time to pray.
That is why Paul the apostle admonishes Us to pray without ceasing. I hear some preachers say if there are people to pray then there is God to answer
Great things happens at the place of prayers.
