I bring to you my recent drawing which I titled "Glowing Village". It should have been my entry for daily drawing challenge for Day 17 but I couldn't post yesterday as I had pressing issues at hand. Thankfully they are all solved now.
For the drawing, I used the Igbo village concept as my grandma usually describe them. She said you can see a hut then you see bushes again and then hut again. So I pictured one in my head and draw huts with bushes in between huts, trees and a road foot-path at night. Beside a particular hut, I drew a pot that was placed on stones with firewood beneath. Because that is what they use to cook in the village, firewood. Also beside another village, I drew a long adult chair.
I draw on Autodesk sketchbook using primary pencil size 0.8 with varying opacity. I use white strokes on black background. Since I drew on a black background the village appeared to be glowing thus the title.
