It is amazing how most times people forget their roots. I mean where they are coming from. That memory has an impact on you positively or otherwise.

When the background or foundation is such that you never want to remember it again, it may be a poor background, humble in such a way that no one would believe you came out from that place based on where you are right now. But i strongly believe it was meant to humble us to apppreciate God and show some gratitude.
You made it out yes and there are lots more like you still there that you can render a little assistance. To shine the light for them to see. Remembering the past makes you strive harder and be a beacon of hope to those in the dark. If you can do it someone else can too.
How has your position or disposition affected people. A star or a light is to make way in the dark. There are dark places everywhere that needs your special light to see them through.
Do not let your light go dim without lighting up another soul. The more the smaller lights the brighter they all shine together. But a single light will always cast a shadow.
Remember who you truly are and make a difference. One less darkness at a time.
