Since the day I decided to take part in this platform so called Steemit, I've been feeling a whirlwind of emotion. It started as exciting, motivating and inspiring. Then at some point, I felt nervous, upset and even depressed. So I came to realise that this platform is like life in a nutshell.
Life is a journey that we are all hoping to be great. We hope that whatever it may bring us, we're always on the top of our game. We hope to reach our goals and be a better version of ourselves. Similarly, Steemit is also full of hopes and possibilities. We look forward each day to earn, learn and meet amazing people from around the globe.
And what is life without challenges and obstacles? It's nothing!
As much as we would love to have a perfect life, it's not gonna happen. We face problems, hurdles and difficulties causing us to stumble and fail. Due to those, we get disappointed with ourselves and ask, "Am I not good enough?" or "When will I be good enough?". Then it leads to us being upset, distressed, troubled and even depressed.
Does it not sound familiar? To me, it does.
Here in Steemit, we exert effort to its maximum level yet, most of the time, we fail. We compose articles that to us are great! We get too excited for it to be appreciated and of course, earn. Then an hour passes by and nobody seems to like it. Well, nobody can notice it in an hour! That's what we normally say to ourselves. Another two to three hours pass and tik tok tik tok. The clock seems unstoppable, nevertheless, our work remains unappreciated. If this happen to us once, we shrug our shoulders and say "Maybe next time. I should be better than this!". We keep our hopes high since it's always tough in the beginning. But, post after post, there seems to be no progress at all.
So isn't it life in a nutshell?
And so that's how we stop steeming! Just like that. Easily. Because that's how easy it is to quit in life. (Note of the sarcasm.)
Do you easily quit in life?
Do you just throw away everything because it didn't start smoothly?
Do you just let opportunities pass by so easily?
Well if not, THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO QUIT STEEMING!
Let's pursue steemit as much as we pursue life!
