In the Bible, when the people of Israel came out of slavery in Egypt that lasted 400 years and went to the Promised Land, they were very happy to finally be free. But then, Pharaoh changed his mind to let them go and came running after them. The town then reached a dead end, facing the Red Sea, and things began to seem impossible. And Moses replied:
Do not be afraid. Stand firm and see the liberation that the Lord will bring you today, because you will never see the Egyptians you see today. The Lord will fight for you, rather than lay your head "(v. 13-14).
Then God was faithful to His Word and to Moses:
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to go ahead, lift up their staff and stretch out their hand over the sea, and the waters will be divided so that the Israelites cross the sea on dry land. I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians and I will persecute them, I will be glorified with the defeat of Pharaoh and all his army, with his chariots and his horsemen, the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when glorified with the defeat of Pharaoh, with his cars and his riders. " (Exodus 14: 15-18)
What a wonderful God this is that we serve! He not only opened the sea for all to cross on dry land, but also destroyed the furious enemies that followed. Until today, we see miracles like this happen! The enemy comes with all fury over the children of God who once lived in slavery to sin. And then they face their forehead, with an immense sea, leaving them cornered. But at the opportune moment, when the children of God are in the limit and they have no more where to go, the Lord enters with providence, opens the sea and gives victory in their hands. Hallelujah!
I do not know what are the problems you have faced. Perhaps he has felt like Moses, who had to live all the time with people without faith, negative, who see themselves as defeated and only complain about life. These people can cause you to lose your focus and peace, but if you cry out to God, none of that will stop you from keeping the promises in your life. Therefore, be encouraged! God did not take you out of Egypt to die on the beach!
