You would think that would be part of a multiverse--not just all characters from one, right?

Nah. Not that into multiverses, or DC. I was kind of hoping they were going to avoid the whole thing, but WandaVision seems to be running full on towards it, for Marvel Studios and the greater MCU, anyway, and DC sounds like it wants to do the same with the Flash movie that's supposed to happen at some point.
