The tilde is rather small, isn't it? That's why it's a pain to even put on there. Option + n, then the n itself. Every time. Start typing the word. Just before the n, type option + n, then the n. Over and over and over. :)

My fault. I decided to talk about jalapeños instead of serranos, which are similar, or chipotles, or anchos, or something else. Unfortunately, I've never seen serrano poppers, though they must exist in some form.

Yeah, the poppers are probably more readily available out there. Arby's, I think it is, has a version of them, and so does another place I go. There not as good, though, in my opinion, or as big.

re: mushrooms

It's tough to beat mushrooms in many cases, anyway, so not a surprise. They're tasty and they combine with a lot of different ingredients and flavors.
