I was pretty surprised by how much it affected here. I guess my son's power was out several hours more. Tried to kick in at about 6 AM but didn't, then managed to get up and running around 7:30 AM. He still had some problems getting on the internet after that, but I believe that was finally resolved.

In my opinion, we get too many people worrying about droughts when there's not as much rain in a particular seasons. Not sure how it works, but they're collective concern seems to act like a rain dance or something because nearly without fail, the following fall and winter more than makes up for it. I know it would be handy if ol' Mother Nature would cooperate and just supply the rain that people want every year, but... :)
