Luego de cargar baterías, me puse manos a la obra con mi emprendimiento. Tenía días posponiendo algo vital: ¡comprar unas tijeras nuevas! Quienes trabajamos con manualidades y accesorios sabemos que una buena tijera es nuestra extensión.

Fui por estas bellezas rosadas que ven en las fotos. Me encantó que traen su protector, porque soy experta en dejar las herramientas en cualquier lado. Aquí va la anécdota graciosa del día: mientras probaba el filo en la tienda, estaba tan emocionada que casi termino cortando por accidente el borde de mi propia franela de "LOVE". La vendedora me miró con una cara de "señora, por favor, contrólese", y yo solo pude soltar una carcajada nerviosa y decirle: "¡Es que cortan de maravilla!". Salí de ahí sintiéndome como si hubiera comprado un auto nuevo, ¡así de apasionada soy con mi trabajo!

After recharging my batteries, I got down to business with my side hustle. I’d been putting off something essential for days: buying a new pair of scissors! Those of us who work with crafts and accessories know that a good pair of scissors is an extension of ourselves.

I went for these pink beauties you see in the photos. I loved that they come with a protective cover, because I’m an expert at leaving my tools lying around everywhere. Here’s the funny story of the day: while I was testing the blade in the store, I was so excited that I almost accidentally cut the hem of my own “LOVE” T-shirt. The saleswoman looked at me with a “ma’am, please, get a grip” expression, and all I could do was let out a nervous laugh and say, “It’s just that they cut so beautifully!”. I walked out of there feeling like I’d bought a new car—that’s how passionate I am about my work!

Having tools that work well not only makes the process easier, but it also reignites your desire to create with excellence. Sometimes we get used to working with what “kind of works,” and we forget that investing in our equipment is investing in our own peace of

To top it all off, after a busy day filled with orders, designs, and laughter at the shop, I decided to treat myself. Nothing screams “victory” quite like a good hot dog from a street vendor.
