You blog on Medium, right? I think I know a Medium writer when I see one. Hahaha. I think it's because of the formatting and the use of Unsplash photos.
The main difference I'd say with Hive and Medium is the formality. You don't need to be so prim and proper in Hive as long as you're genuine. You can write about anything in Hive.
Medium is also saturated with personal development and self improvement articles that are mostly 'clickbait-y.'
In Hive, these types of content are fresh and still growing.
