Big waves, strong winds, and a rising tide.
I recently went on a day tour trip with my girlfriend to an island resort in the southern part of Cebu (Philippines). We had to ride a boat to get there and the place was operated by a single resort company giving it a 'private island' vibe.
It's far from private though. There were a lot of tourists during our visit because it's a 'very long weekend' here in Cebu with Thursday (Feb 24) and Friday (Feb 25) being holidays. The island was pretty small but I still managed to get myself and my girlfriend lost. We took the road less traveled that passed through the island's forest area. We thought we'd miss our boat trip back to the mainland. I'll write more about that experience in my full-length blog about this place.
