🐶 CARA GOES TO GEORGIA!
Last January 26, 2018, CARA Welfare Philippines AmbassaDOGS, Kimchi, Ginger and T-Bone with Teacher Eric Suguitan celebrated with us on our 9th Foundation Day Opening. Kimchi and T-Bone were both rescued, while Ginger acts like an older sister. Ginger, a golden retriever, and Kimchi, a cocker spaniel mix, also share a special bond. Ginger serves as the service dog and a guide for Kimchi who is blind.
CARA (Compassion and Responsibility for Animals) was formed in the year 2000 by a dedicated group of animal lovers determined to help the plight of animals in the Philippines. It is a non-profit, non-government organization that receives no government funding and rely solely on private donations. Their vision is to make the Philippines an animal compassionate country where all cats and dogs have good homes, and their mission is to provide affordable sterilization and veterinary care, as well as rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and dogs in need.
My son was really excited meeting and cuddling these three lovable and huggable dogs. The rest of the students really enjoyed their visit and photo opportunity too!
Not only the young ones enjoyed their visit but also the young at heart like us! CARA and the AmbassaDOGS taught our students and us how to be compassionate and how to love and take care of animals. They are really an inspiration to everyone.
You are the true symbols of true compassion, love and affection. See you again next time, Kimchi, Ginger and T-Bone! 🐶
