When it comes to creating we must let our imagination fly, that's why this time I want to share with you my latest creation, it is a personalized backpack, every time I bought a backpack I had to make certain adaptations, that's why this time I decided to make it myself.

Cuando de crear se trata debemos dejar volar nuestra imaginación, es por ello que esta vez quiero compartir con ustedes mi última creación, se trata de una mochila personalizada, cada vez que compraba una mochila tenía que hacerle ciertas adaptaciones, es por ello que esta vez tomé la decisión de hacerla yo misma.

Materials I used:
75 cm of black backpack fabric
75 cm of waterproof fabric
1.5 meter of two-way zipper
5 zippers
1 meter of 2 cm Poly tape
75 cm of 5 cm Poly tape
1 Clic Clac of 5 cm
2 sliders.

Materiales que utilicé:

Procedure:
First we mark our pattern on the fabric and lining:
2 pieces of 50 cm x 35 cm for the front and back of the backpack.
Then for the front pocket 1 piece of 38 cm x 27 cm from which we lower 15 cm from the top and cut for the separation of the zipper.
For the middle pocket 1 piece of 38 cm x 27 cm and two pieces for the pocket gussets, one of 42 cm x 4 cm for the zipper and the other of 42 cm x 5 cm for the bottom of the pocket.
For the upper gussets one of 10 cm x 65 cm and the other of 6 cm x 65 cm.
For the lower gusset one piece of 35 cm x 15 cm and two pieces of 15 cm x 12 cm for the side gussets.
For the pockets two pieces of 14 cm x 15 cm.

Procedimiento:
Primero marcamos nuestro patrón en la tela y forro:
2 piezas de 50 cm x 35 cm para la parte delantera y de espalda de la mochila.
Luego para el bolsillo delantero 1 pieza de 38 cm x 27 cm de la cual bajamos 15 cm de la parte superior y cortamos para la separación del cierre.
Para el bolsillo medio 1 pieza de 38 cm x 27 cm y dos piezas para los fuelles del bolsillo un fuelle de 42 cm x 4 cm para el cierre y el otro de 42 cm x 5 cm para la parte inferior del bolsillo.
Para los fuelles superiores uno de 10 cm x 65 cm y otro de 6 cm x 65 cm.
Para el fuelle inferior una pieza de 35 cm x 15 cm y dos piezas de 15 cm x 12 cm para los fuelles laterales.
Para los bolsillos dos piezas de 14 cm x 15 cm.

After cutting all the pieces, I designed the logo on a sheet of graph paper marking a rhombus of 11 squares high and 10 squares wide leaving 2 squares distance for the following frames, then pass them to a piece of interlining with glue and then pass them to a piece of red fabric, ironed and cut out and then sew it to the front pocket.

Después de cortar todas las piezas, diseñe el logo en una hoja de papel cuadriculado marcando un rombo de 11 cuadros de alto y 10 da ancho dejando 2 cuadros de distancia para los siguientes marcos, luego los pase a un retazo de entretela con pega y posteriormente los pase a un retazo de tela roja, planché y recorté para luego coserlo al bolsillo delantero.

Assembling the front pocket:
Step 1: to assemble the pocket we need a 25 cm zipper and a zipper to which we put some supports of the same fabric of the backpack at the ends.

Armado del bolsillo delantero:
Paso 1: para armar el bolsillo necesitamos un cierre de 25 cm y una cremallera al cual le colocamos unos soportes de la misma tela de la mochila a los extremos.

Then we sew our top and bottom pieces to the zipper, then we make some stitches to fix the zipper.

Luego cosemos nuestras piezas superiores e inferiores al cierre, seguidamente le hacemos unos pespuntes para fijar el cierre.

Step 2: after assembling my front pocket, I pinned each piece of the logo and then sewed it to the pocket with chain stitch.

Paso 2: después de armar mi bolsillo delantera el parte inferior coloque con alfileres cada pieza del logo y luego con punto cadeneta lo cosí al bolsillo.

Assembling the middle pocket:
Step 3: For this pocket I used 40 cm zipper and two zippers. First I sewed the zipper to the top gusset of the middle pocket, then I pinned the bottom gusset and zipper to the pocket, then sewed it.

Armado del bolsillo medio:
Paso 3: para este bolsillo utilicé de 40 cm de cierre y dos cremalleras. Primero cosí el cierre al fuelle superior del bolsillo medio, luego coloque con alfiles el fuello inferior y el cierre al bolsillo, posteriormente lo cosí.

Then I sewed the ends of the gusset to the zipper, to close the pocket.

Luego cosí los extremos del fuelle al cierre, para cerrar el bolsillo.

Step 4: in the front of the backpack I sewed a cell phone pocket, for which I cut a piece of fabric of 10 cm x 18 cm, at the top I made a double of 1 cm and sewed, then I marked 2 cm at the side and bottom ends and made a backstitch to demarcate the sides of our pocket. or pocket.

Paso 4: en la parte delantera del morral le cocí un bolsillo porta celular, para el cual corté una pieza de tela de 10 cm x 18 cm, en la parte superior le hice un dobles de 1 cm y cosí, luego marqué 2 cm en los extremos laterales e inferiores y le hice un pespunte para demarcar los lados de nuestro bolsillo.

Then I pinned my cell phone pocket to the front of the backpack and sewed it on.

Luego ajusté mi bolsillo porta celular con alfileres a la parte delantera de la mochila y lo cosí.

I then sewed the middle pocket to the front of the backpack.

Posteriormente cosí el bolsillo medio a la parte delantera de la mochila.

Assembling the sliders:
Step 5: I first sewed the slider to a 5 cm piece of Poly tape, then pinned the fabric to the foam rubber and sewed the Poly tape with the slider to the carrier.

Paso 5: primero cosí el deslizable a un pedazo de cinta Poly de 5 cm, luego ajusté la tela a la goma espuma con alfileres y cosí la cinta Poly con el deslizable a la cargadera.

I then folded the fabric in half for the carrier backing and sewed in a semi-circular fashion, then flipped the fabric over and sewed the carriers to the backing.

Assembling the upper gussets:
Step 6: for this part I used 62 cm of zipper and 2 zippers. I sewed each gusset to each side of the zipper.

Armado de fuelles superiores:
Paso 6: para esta parte utilicé 62 cm de cierre y 2 cremalleras. Cosí cada fuelle a cada lado del cierre.

Then at the ends I pinned the lower side gussets and sewed.

Luego en los extremos coloqué con alfileres los fuelles inferiores laterales y cosí

Then I stitched a backstitch to better adjust the gussets.

Después le realicé un pespunte para ajustar mejor los fuelles.

Step 7: Side pockets for these I needed two 8 cm pieces of rubberized bias binding. First I sewed both pieces on their reverse side.

Paso 7: Bolsillos laterales para estos necesite dos piezas de sesgo engomado de 8 cm. Primero cosí ambas piezas en su revés.

Then I turned them over and made a backstitch to later sew the bias binding with pins so that the pocket can be tucked in.

Step 8: For this I used two pieces of 50 cm Poly tape. To adjust the tape to the support I folded my triangle of fabric in half and the top part I placed one end of the tape adjusting it with pins and then sewed them together.

Paso 8: Para ello utilicé dos piezas de cinta Poly de 50 cm. Para ajustar la cinta al soporte doble mi triangulo de tela a la mitad y la parte superior coloque un extremo de la cinta ajustándolo con alfileres y posteriormente los cosí.

Joining the front and back parts.
Step 9: the first thing I did was to pin the upper support of the bottom of the bottom of the bellows to the gusset, 20 cm of 2 cm Poly tape (for the handle) and the part of the back.

Then I adjusted the lower support of the bottom of the pockets to the gusset and the back part, and after having everything adjusted with pins I proceeded to sew both sides of my backpack.

Luego ajuste los soporte inferiores de las cargaderas al fuelle y la parte de la espalda, ya después de tener todo ajustado con alfileres procedí a coser ambos lados de mi mochila.

Then I pinned the bottom gusset to the top of the backpack and sewed.

Después con alfileres ajusté el fuelle inferior a la parte superior de la mochila y cosí.

I then reinforced the zigzag stitching all the way around.

Posteriormente reforcé la costura en zigzag en todo el rededor de la misma.

Next, I placed the Clic Clac on the bottom support of the shoulder straps, adjusted with 5 cm Poly tape.

Seguidamente en el soporte inferior de las cargaderas coloque el Clic Clac ajustados con cinta Poly de 5 cm.
