Black and white photos have their own allure. Many photographers I've encountered prefer shooting in black and white. One photographer I met suggested that to create black and white photos, it's best to capture them directly in the camera. I'm not sure of the reason, but that's what he advised me. Then, I remembered a file of photos from two years ago, and there's a sad memory behind the photo session process. I decided to recreate those photos with a black and white tone.
Perhaps today marks exactly two years ago. A friend of mine, who was also a photographer, was called by God. The photos I'm about to share below are from our last photo session together. He loved photography, and we often talked about his aspirations as a photographer, ranging from conceptual photos to the cameras and lenses he wanted to buy. Unfortunately, before he could fulfill all his wishes, he was called to the arms of God.
There were many photo concepts we wanted to work on but didn't get the chance to realize. He even had a wishlist for using a camera from the same brand as mine because he loved the colors produced by my camera. A few years after his departure, I founded a community of photographers who appreciate conceptual photos. If my friend were still here, he would surely be happy now, as I've created a community to channel the talents of photographers. Therefore, I dedicate the final photos taken while he was still with us in black and white to commemorate him.
