Hey guys polygon announced an update. This update is like the crypto unicorn so I am excited for it馃榾馃榾
Polygon now
-Side Chain meaning it has its own consensus mechanism to secure the network
-Doesn鈥檛 benefit from Ethereums decentralisation and security
-EVM compatible so any apps built on Ethereum can be simply ported onto Polygon
Although transactions are fast and cheap on Polygon as is the case with many competing Layer 1 blockchains, the network isn鈥檛 secured by Ethereums robust decentralisation and security
Polygons update
-Will deploy zk rollups
-Will benefit from Ethereums decentralisation and security
- Will be even faster and cheaper than before
-Will remain EVM compatible so any dapp can deploy on the chain easily
