Hey guys
Yesterday I had a common debate about my top 10 series of all time and one in particular series was debated for a long time so I thought I would make a suggestion to the hive community about a series that itโs definitely undervalued and not getting the praise that it deserve in the pop culture.
the beloved Boardwalk Empire
It is an HBO production of 56 episodes (5 seasons), based on the book by Nelson Johnson and a screenplay by Terence Winter (Sopranos, Wolf of Wall Street), while the producers are Oscar winner Martin Scorcese, Timothy Van Patten (Sopranos, The Pacific) and others dozen top shelf producers. The cast is also from the top shelf, it can also be seen in the wallpaper below, starring Steve Buscemi. For more info

The case is based on the politico-gangster games of an Atlantic City politician during Prohibition in America (1920s) while also following the lives of the surrounding characters who are basically big criminals of the time. The series is based on real events and almost all the characters are real people, so we will meet gangster names known to all of us.
In the series you will find great costumes, female musicians of the 20s, a lot of cigarettes (of course) and you can't help but love some characters like Al Capone, Chalky White, Richard Harrow, Gyp Rosetti etc.
He has won 20 Emmys (57 nominations), 2 Golden Globes (8 nominations) and some 40 more here and there.
I hope with the generalities that I baked at least one person to see her ๐
And one more info about the Al Capone actor
He grew up in Merseyside, a tough area, he suffered from depression and at one point he decided to kill himself, the only reason he survived and is still here is because the rope was cut.
He completely abstains from any kind of alcohol and is also dyslexic, because of this he relies on his wife Hannah to read his scripts to him to help him decide whether or not he wants a proposed role.
He has played in: Snatch, Boardwalk Empire, The Irishman, Public Enemies, Line Of Duty, Peaky Blinders, Little Boy Blue, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Gangs Of New York and many more. His most recent work is Code 404. One of my favorite works of his is a short film, Scummy Man, which is also the Arctic Monkeys video clip for When the sun goes down, probably the most British clip he has ever happen
