Today's Topic:
I like touching both aspect of things so that I can weight every angle and then make a decision.
I personally believe people could easily tend to their own responsibilities more and not be so exhausted. People will be happier, more loyal, I think and I believe they would accomplish much more work on the 4 working days as opposed to stretching things out for five days.
I really don't think anyone would complain as long as it doesn't affect ones income but of course, this really only applies to those who don't work on the weekend anyway.
I honestly think Monday should be a weekend too. A lot of people are grumpier on Mondays but then a lot of national holidays in Nigeria and other countries are on Mondays so at the end of the day it is debatable because people would want to pick Friday to Sunday but on the bright side, on Fridays, a lot of people look forward to the weekend. People are always excited about the coming weekend. People hate going to work on Mondays so it makes sense to have Mondays off and counted as the weekend. When it's weekday the days move with the speed of snail but when it's weekend, the days would be driving a Ferrari.
I just feel there would be more bonding time with families as they would spend more time together. I also feel knowing you are working less days of the week with an extra weekend to look forward to, it would inspire people and whoever have a deadline to meet can surely have an extra time over the weekend to sort it out. Tuesday is the new Monday 馃榿.
Humans will remain humans because it's all about the attitude. However you have trained yourself with either a 4 work days or 5 work days would always be the same approach you will use when the weekend is extended and work days shortened. Some people work better under deadlines while some knows that the longer time they have the more they delayed things which usually catch up with them.
I feel it's about approach because human minds have the ability to adapt to things but most of the times we don't want to adapt to things because we are scared of stretching ourselves.
I would stick with the usual format because I like being active and productive. I love having more time to work and I enjoy the thrill of having to collapse things into minute details. Knowing the weekend is just 2 days, I enjoy the thrill of having to schedule myself. I love being up and doing. I love being active. I love doing things and I would stick to the current format.
It calls for priority and it allows me to make room for what's important. It makes whatever I choose to do have more value like family time and even moment of rest.
Cheers.
