I want to say a wonderful thank you to ablaze@ablaze for this opportunity to share what most people love and that's music. Another thanks to olawalium@olawalium for inviting me to join in. It's evening here and I need to quickly jump in. I can't wait till next week haha. There is still time and you can read all about Three Tune Tuesday here: Devendra Banhart for Three Tune Tuesday Week 55

Love is a wonderful feeling. It's not devoid of its ups and downs but it's still a wonderful feeling to have and to feel. Someone once said that "I love love, I love being in love and I don't care what it does to me." Love is worth the shot.

There were songs from when we were growing up that made us see love as the best feeling ever and I bring three classic songs to us. For many born recently they might have missed it but for those who appreciate classic and those who must have missed these songs, they are evergreen and I bring them to you. I'm sure we must have heard them over and over at some point, wondering about it.

The first song for my TTT is:

A song titled "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by "Aerosmith. It's funny that I didn't know about this song until I watched the movie titled "Armageddon" in 1998. I was so drawn to the song that I had to look it up and it's a wonderful song. I later got to know that the song was an unexpected comeback from Aerosmith and his band which became one of the greatest power ballads of all time.

It's about cherishing every moment with your loved ones and never taking anything for granted. I can't get over this song.

The second song I want to share with TTT is titled "When A Man Loves A Woman" by "Percy Sledge". I used to think this song was by Michael Bolton but I got to know that Percy Sledge was the original artist behind the song and it was inspired by a break up he suffered back then. That's why I said love has its ups and downs. This song made history back in the day as it reached number 4 in 1966 and also peaked at number 2 in 1987. It became a hit in the UK twice at different times. It's classic and evergreen.

The last one I want to share with us is titled "I Will Always Love You" by "Dolly Parton". I know also a lot of people have known this song to be Whitney Houston's song but it isn't. I love Whitney's version too anyway as she made it her own and injected more life into it. It's a song about love and it was first used in the movie titled "Bodyguard" in 1992. Dolly Parton wrote this classic and evergreen song in 1973, for her partner and mentor then Porter Wagoner, from whom she was separating professionally after seven years of being together, working together. This song is in honour of the man and it became a classic ever since.
