Thank you sir; @ablaze for another Tuesday of fun to look out for, filled with music. It's a good one because I get introduced to some songs I didn't even know about while also remembering those ones that reignites my memories. It's another week to recommend beautiful songs and this is week 66... We are moving... Music is beautiful and it is the reason why we have fallen in love with it.
The first one for this week is titled 'Stronger Than Me' by Amy Winehouse. You can watch the video below:
I like songs that addresses situations that we see around. True life experience makes these songs easy to relate to and Amy spoke of her struggles with frustration relating to dating a guy 7 years older than she is and yet he doesn't act like he is older. We have people like this in our daily lives that doesn't act their act. This song is relatable as they say because it deals with those who refused to grow up. It's true what they say getting old is mandatory but growing up is optional. We saw her frustration through her words where she has to act matured for someone who is naturally supposed to be. She had to act stronger than someone who should be.
The second one for this week is titled 'Someone Like You' by Adele. You can watch the video below:
This is a popular song which I know most people would have heard about. I am not a huge fan of loud music even though I can make exceptions but I love solemn songs. This song makes me happy in terms of the beat, the way she sang it and how smooth it is.
Another song that someone can relate with because we have all been in a situation where we have our hearts broken by a failed relationship. This song explains the feeling Adele felt with letting go of a relationship of many years and coming to terms with it. She had to accept it as the realization was dawning on her. Love is capable of putting us in this mood and she describes this feeling so well.
The last one for this week is titled 'Roar' by Katy Perry. You can watch the video below:
This song talks about picking yourself up in life. We all should dust ourselves off and keep going. It's another song many people can relate with since it's practical. Katy Perry explained the inspiration behind the song since she wrote the song after undergoing therapy. She had a lot of feelings inside and she wasn't speaking up for myself. We all have the tendency to bottle things up too and not speak up. We should let it out. We should let it go. We should allow ourselves to feel.
I decided to go with songs that we can all relate with for this week because that's the only way we can, improve and do better. Life is about learning and music is also about teaching.
Thank you for another wonderful Tuesday on TTT.
Cheers.
Gingered Up! ❣️
